GS E&R, a comprehensive energy provider with eco-friendly solutions
GS E&R is established in March 2014 as an integrated energy enterprise. Our company has been developing into a comprehensive energy provider through conducting CHP (Combined Heat and Power), coal-fired thermal power, renewable energy, and energy distribution businesses.
GS E&R operates South Korea’s largest integrated energy co-generation plants in Banwol and Gumi provinces. We supply high-quality steam to industrial consumers at economic prices and electricity to Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO). We also strive to be a leader in comprehensive energy business by installing new green energy supply facilities in Shinpyeongyang General Industrial Complex in Pocheon by 2018. Moreover, our company aims to build South Korea’s the first large-scale thermal power pant in Gangwon-do in 2016, as a forerunner of the new Independent Power Plant (IPP) market.
GS E&R leads the new and renewable energy business with a view to securing future new growth engines. With the first successful operation of the 2MW-wind power plant in Jeju Island, our company ardently pursues eco-friendly development business ideas based on the international climate change regime. This includes our building of world’s largest power generation Energy Storage System (ESS) and wind-power system of near 59.4MV in Yeongyang-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do.
GS E&R will continuously endeavor to become a leading energy company by enhancing core competencies of business, creating the highest value for our shareholders and customers, and dedicating to society through employment.
