Overview

GS Sports Corporation is a sports company under GS Group currently managing FC Seoul of men’s professional football club and GS Caltex Seoul KIXX of women’s professional volleyball team.
FC Seoul is the most beloved football club in the nation, based in Korea’s capital city of Seoul. Since founded in 1983, the club has grown into the ‘Big Leading Club’ in K League by accomplishing as following: five K League titles, two FA Cups, two League Cups and one Super Cup. Recently FC Seoul has also extended its magnificent performance in AFC Champions League contributing to enhance the status of Korean Football.
Attacking Football has been the philosophy of the FC Seoul to attract and to satisfy the Seoul fans. Moreover, its Attacking Football presented exciting matches and satisfying results. Most of all, FC Seoul has covered the lists of the Most Attendance and Full House Matches with their name.
 
2010 was the year of the FC Seoul because the Club won both the domestic league (K League) and League Cup. Attendance of 60,747 in a single match was the new record in Korean professional sports history. Along with this, the average attendance of 32,576, and oval all attendance of 546,497 were also new record set by FC Seoul.
Since FC Seoul was the Dominant Champions in 2012, we won the K League and without a doubt. FC Seoul has put its name on the lists of the Most Wins (29), Most Competition Points gained (96), League’s Leading Goal Scorer and the League’s Leading Goal-Assists Winner. FC Seoul ranked at the Top Overall Attendance Record for three years in a row. In 2013, FC Seoul has reached the milestone of 400th Win and the ranked at the Runners Up in the AFC Champions League. Due to the magnificent performance in the Champions League, Mr. Choi Yong-soo, the manager of FC Seoul, won the 2013 AFC Men’s Manager of the Year Award.
 
In the following year, FC Seoul has reached the semifinals of the AFC Champions League for 2 consecutive years and also was rated as the No. 1 club in Asia in IFFHS Ranking. 46,549 spectators came to our home ground to be part of the Super Match and to see our great records as follows. FC Seoul ranked at the Top 10 Most Attendance Record List with their name from top to bottom. In 2015, FC Seoul set the record of 300,000 Crowd Attendance for six consecutive years, toped in AFC Club Ranking and most of all, the Club have won the 2015 FA Cup for the second time in the Club’s history.
FC Seoul have been running the FOS(Future of FC Seoul) Program the Youth Football Academy to find promising young players for the future and also planning and involving in Social Contribution Events to enhance the football infrastructure and environment. The Club has been hosting Friendly Matches with the top level clubs from overseas as an event for the fans. FC Seoul will always be the most beloved Football Club among the Seoul football fans with sustaining investments and Attacking Football. Our goal is to become the World’s best beyond Asia and most beloved Football Club. 
GS Caltex Seoul Kixx Volleyball Club based in Seoul, are also traditional giant in Korean women’s volleyball league. Since founded in 1970, the Club has won 92 consecutive matches, winning 9 Super League Titles in a row from 1991 to 1999.
 
Since the Professional League Era in 2007, the Club won the 2007 KOVO (Korean Volleyball Federation) Cup undefeated and also won the 2007~2008 V League. People were able to remember the GS Era in the 1990’s. Once again became the undefeated Champions of KOVO cup in 2012. Runners-Up in 2012~2013 V League and the champion of the 2013~2014 V League meant the comeback of the Volleyball Giant. As GS Caltex KIXX Volleyball Team, we are doing our very best to retain our performance level in the league and to show joyful and exciting matches for our fans all the time.
 
As already mentioned above, GS Sports Corporation is seeking ways of synergic effect between FC Seoul and GS Caltex Kixx for the development of Korean Professional Sports.
